Weds Mar 28th – Writing test scores as percentages, comparing two test results using percentages

LEARNIGN OBJECTIVE: To discover how to write a mark in attest as a percentage and then use this to compare results between tests.

SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to turn a score in a test into a percentage.

STARTER: Matching pairs game (hard percentages and fractions)

LESSON: Use lots of easy test scores to show percentages

Here is an extract from a teachers mark book. It shows the results of four tests for the 8 students, but the percentage columsn have not yet been filled in. ON your copy of this extract can you fill in the percentages (Izzy this is WITHOUT a CALCULATOR?)
