Fri 25th Nov- Converting Fractions to decimals & percentages with and without a calculator

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: Use the skills in equivalent fractions to convert a fraction into a decimal and a percentage, ands also use a clacultor to change a fraction into a decimal & a percentage

SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to convert any fraction to a percentage with or without a calculator

PLENARY: Check Answers

LESSON: Converting Percentages to Fractions and then checking fractions are in their simplest forms

Eg 24% = 0.24 = 24/100 = 6/25 – lots of examples on the IWB

Show how to convert a Fraction into a percentage on IWB – Lost of examples
